WORKSHOP
Visual Thinking 1.0
In this hands-on workshop, I invite participants to explore the intersection of images and text—visual thinking, through playful activities designed to stimulate creative skills.
The workshop covers three key aspects of visual thinking:
Unit 1: What is visual thinking, and what is a visual alphabet, as fundamentals of visual thinking.
Unit 2: The literal, the conceptual, and the symbolic. This unit encourages participants to apply the visual alphabet using random text.
Unit 3: Basics of storytelling. Participants will learn storytelling techniques and create their own visual thinking artifact by integrating all the workshop learnings.
This workshop is designed for students and professionals of all ages and industries, and who are interested in human centred-design and design thinking. No prior experience or knowledge is required to attend.
The workshop can be conducted face-to-face in small groups (maximum of 20 participants) or online for larger groups.
